Plan Announced to Triple in Size with All-Jet Fleet
CommutAir announces plans to retire its Dash-8 turboprop fleet and transition to an all-jet fleet, in conjunction with a new Memorandum of Understanding with United to take delivery of an additional 21 ERJ145 aircraft. As a result, the airline’s fleet will triple. Today CommutAir operates more than 900 weekly flights to more than 30 destinations from bases in Newark Liberty International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport.
